3/4 oz Fresh Orange Juice

Rye in Your Britches
Original recipe by Charles Joly: Crafthouse by Fortessa
2 oz American Rye Whisky
1/4 oz Cherry Heering
1 dash Aromatic Bitters
2 oz Milk Stout, Beer
Combine Whisky, Cherry Heering and Bitters in a mixing glass. Add ice and stir. Gently pour in Milk Stout (a basic stout will also work). Stir lightly and strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Scrape nutmeg over the top. Smoke with a cedar / cigar aroma.
Old Fashioned
2 oz Bourbon (sweet) / Rye (sharp)
1 tsp Simple Syrup
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Splash of club soda / water
Use a cocktail shaker to blend the ingredients until chilled, then strain into a thick walled glass over a large ice cube or sphere. Garnish with an orange slice or twist. Some popular recipes call for cherries, but this affects the taste of the drink; if used, add as a garnish outside the liquid, such as on a cocktail pick.
My husband LOVES the smoking box, however we need A users manual or instructions on where to order filters.
